Great Kereru Count 2016

We took part in the Learnz online conference which was about kereru conservation. We joined online video conferences and we used lots of the background pages they supplied to study kereru too.  We recorded each kereru we saw at school, travelling and around our homes and farms on the website.

Afterwards we completed a survey and surprisingly we won a package of sponsors products - books from Nelson Council Library and a pack from World Wildlife Fund.  We will definitely take part in this kereru count next year to see how the kereru are progressing in numbers throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
